Bland Weaver

R. Bland Weaver, Jr., CLU, ChFC

Bland is a native of Richmond, VA. After graduating from the University of Richmond in 1981 with a B.A. in history, he taught high school for eight years. Bland’s start in financial services began in 1989. He completed degrees with the American College to obtain the designations of Chartered Life Underwriter and Chartered Financial Consultant. Bland also holds licenses for Series 6, Series 63, and Series 65.

Community service is extremely important to Bland, and he is an active elder at the Gayton Kirk Presbyterian Church and one of the primary fundraisers for the Kiwanis Club of Tuckahoe.

Bland and his wife, Joy, have two grown sons and live in the Short Pump area with their chocolate lab, Lovey. University of Richmond athletics, Washington Redskins, Cincinnati Reds, racquetball  Jeopardy, and crossword puzzles are Bland’s social passions.

 

Joy C. Weaver

Joy is a native of the Washington, D.C/Maryland suburbs, but has resided in Richmond for over 35 years. She has licenses for Life and Health, as well as Property and Casualty insurances. Managing ongoing service issues and sales are Joy’s primary business concerns.

Joy enjoys volunteering in the community, aerobics, reading, music and cooking as well as getting together with family and friends.

Rebekah Wilkerson DeMary

Rebekah is a native of King William, VA where she graduated from high school with an advanced diploma. She then began working in the property and casualty insurance industry and obtained her property and casualty insurance license at the age of 19. She is currently working towards the ACSR (Accredited Customer Service Representative) national designation.

Rebekah has a passion for helping others and found that servicing accounts and providing clients with insurance plans catered to their needs allows her to do this on a daily basis. Rebekah enjoys working with her uncle, Bland and aunt, Joy.

Rebekah is a member of Gethsemane Church of Christ in Mechanicsville, VA and enjoys art, music, the Washington Redskins, and time with friends and family. She has two “children”, Dottie and Rosie, both miniature dachshunds and still resides in King William County.

 

Zach Webb

Zach Webb

Zach is from the greater Richmond area. He graduated from Godwin High School in 2002 and went on to attend Randolph-Macon College for his freshman year where he played lacrosse. In the fall of 2003, Zach transferred to the University of North Carolina, Wilmington and earned a degree in business marketing in December of 2006.

After graduating, Zach remained in the Wilmington area, residing in Wrightsville Beach where he worked at The Dockside Restaurant. In 2009, he decided to return to school and earned a dual degree in International Master of Business Administration from UNC-Wilmington and the University of Valencia, Spain in December of 2010.

When he returned to Richmond in January of 2011, Zach accepted a sales managerial position with Thomas Scientific, and he worked in that capacity through the first part of 2013.

Recently, Zach received his life and health licenses and is currently preparing to take the Series 6 and 63 exams.

Zach is an avid sports fan and is head coach of the Godwin High School boys’ lacrosse team. He also loves music, cooking, traveling, and running with his dog, Ziggy.
